Activity Menu Case Study

Previously, this activity feature already existed. The newest activity feature currently aims to enable users to document daily activities, both tasks and events. After creating an activity, the user must also control whether the activity process has been completed, is in progress, or has been completed. Usability testing had been carried out in the first phase. From Diarium management there is an update regarding insights from users and requests for the second phase of usability testing to be carried out.

Phase 1: Emphatize

In this phase, the first phase of usability testing is carried out on users regarding activity features. The person conducting the interview is the researcher. I act as an observer, and later I will ask for validation of what the user says if necessary.

Phase 2: Define

The design team defines user insights in the first phase of usability testing.

Phase 3: Ideate

The design team defines user insights in the first phase of usability testing.

Phase 4: Prototype

Researchers create draft scenarios for usability testing materials. I work together with researchers and designers to iterate the scenario until it is final, this will also be material for the prototype that will be made.

I created high-fidelity then made a prototype based on the usability testing scenario that had been created.

Phase 5: Testing

In the testing phase, the user interview part is usually carried out by the researcher. At that time, with a large number of users and limited time, I helped the researcher conduct user interviews.

Usability Testing Summary Results

The following are the negative and positive findings from the usability testing results that have been carried out. This summary was made by the researcher.
